Twala Joins IdeaSpace 2021 Acceleration Program, Gets Recognized By La French Tech Philippines

Twala, a tech startup that offers digital transformation of businesses with their legally binding and secure electronic signature platform powered by blockchain technology, got selected as one of the startups that will join the IdeaSpace Philippines Acceleration Program 2021. The program will help the Top 15 startup companies they selected in the Philippines as they scale their ventures to become stable and sustainable businesses.

IdeaSpace Philippines is a non-profit organization that supports early-stage technology startups in the Philippines. As of writing, they have already mentored more than 300 tech startups and supported 107. They have also invested over PHP200 million to help the Philippine startup ecosystem.

Twala underwent a rigorous application process with IdeaSpace to be selected as one of the top 15 startup companies that help solve emerging market issues to journey with them in the next four months of the acceleration program. Twala battled it out with the Top 100 applicants by going through three rounds of judging, and Twala was able to impress the panel as they got selected for the Top 30 startups that moved forward for the pre-acceleration phase.

The Top 30 startups underwent a six-week pre-acceleration program where IdeaSpace helped them achieve their milestones in the areas of technology and market readiness. The mentorship and the smart-goal setting for past weeks empowered Twala to be more driven in their goal to introduce businesses to the efficiency and effectiveness of electronic signature powered by blockchain technology.

Jeffrey Reyes, CEO and Cofounder of Twala shared of the experience, “After the six-week pre-acceleration program, we are so proud to have made it to the Top 15 startups that will be entering the four-month acceleration program proper. This program will help Twala through coaching, founder and team member training, and workshops, so we can offer a better and more secure electronic and digital signature platform for businesses.”

Reyes also shared another feat for Twala, “On top of being part of the top 15 startups to work with IdeaSpace, we would like to let you know that Twala is also included in La French Tech’s Top 10 startup! It is a program supported by the French government, so we are more than happy for the acknowledgment as we continue to be recognized not only in the Philippines but also on the global stage!”
