On July 2, 2020, Disini Law, in partnership with Digital Freedom Network, presented “E-Signature: Are They Legal”, the second episode in the webinar series Digital Transformation Thursdays (DTT).

E-Signature: Are They Legal focused on electronic and digital signatures, and their variants including popular services such as DocuSign, Adobe Sign, and a local startup, Twala. The panelists discussed the fundamental concepts of electronic signature and related these to applicable Philippine laws, such as, but not limited to, the Electronic Commerce Act of 2000, and the Rules on Electronic Evidence.

The panelists were Atty. JJ Disini, Managing Partner of Disini Law; Engr. Jeffrey Reyes, Co-Founder and CEO of Twala; Jeniffer Barnedo-Canlas and Sheryl Vizcara, both from the Department of Information and Communications Technology-Cybersecurity Bureau.
